Introduction To 5 Card Omaha Hi/Lo

5 Card Omaha hi/lo is the new game variation in Pokerrrr that you will now be able to choose in the pre-game settings. This makes it the fourth variation of Omaha to have been released in Pokerrrr, along with the already existing Omaha games: regular 4 Card Omaha, 4 Card Omaha hi/lo and regular 5 Card Omaha.

PLO (Pot Limit Omaha) has even more complexity than regular Texas Hold’em, so it is a great way to spice up your regular home games and see who can adapt the quickest.

Playing 5 card is the same as playing 4 card, except you have one extra card to choose from to make your hand. Just remember, two cards (no less, no more) from your hand and three from the community cards must be chosen in order to create your five card poker hand. The difference is you will have one extra card to choose from.

Now with the new hi/lo variation added, pots will can be split in half. Half will be awarded to the best high card hand, and the half to the best low card hand (in the range eight or lower).

The strength of hands differ quite a lot when compared with Texas Holdem. Adding the hi/lo variation increases the diversity of hands that can be played.
